60% Converstion Rates -Yep!

Often I speak with 1AutomationWiz clients who ask “what’s a good conversion rate?” Now typically the pat answer is that a 2% conversion rate is great, but I ran across a post on the Future Now blog that really changed my perspective on this answer.

The post explains the top 10 converting websites for December 2008. The post was enlightening to say the least and shows the hard numbers of why and what you want to test when trying to increase the sales conversions on your web site.

Now although the sites listed are commercial shopping sites, the examples still offer a huge value as examples in how they are designed and how you can model what they are doing.
